Today's the day, Opening Day! The Geneva Red Wings will be hosting the Genesee Vallet River Bats in NYCBL league play. Both teams open their season tonight with a 0-0 record.
The Wings are slowly taking form as more team members make their way to McDonough Park. Some of our players continue to play for their college teams as they have made regional playoffs. This is the case for our St. Bonaventure players. Bona' has qualified for the field of 64 and will play Miami in the first round in double elimination format. Their game is scheduled for Friday June 4th at 7:00. Results of this game and the Red Wings home opener will be posted right here as they become available.
