JUne 4th, 2004

Late Update:
The Red Wings won tonight 3-1 with some clutch hitting first by firstbaseman Dustin Sommer who hit a monster home run early in the game. In the bottom of the eighth Russ Madison put the Wings ahead for good with a two run triple.

I wish I had more news, but yours truly missed the game too. Thanks to Clay Copeland for the information we have here.

Tomorrow is an off day for the team. The next game is a doubleheader scheduled for Sunday at 3:00. The Wings will play host to the Allegany Nitros, so pack a lunch and join us for a full day of baseball at McDonough!
