Bats come alive!...July 5th , 2006

...The Wings pounded out 12 hits Monday afternoon against the Royals pitching staff. In the 10-2 victory five Wings had 2 hits a piece: Harry Darling (Boston College), Chris Hutto (Francis Marion), Chris Bottsford (St. John Fisher), Nick Stewart (Francis Marion), and Matt Nandin (Lemoyne). Starting pitcher Kenny Gray (Florida Atlantic) again pitched a tremendous game alowing 5 hits and 2 earned runs in 7 innings of work, all while fanning 9 batters. The Wings face off tonight vs. the Saratoga Phillies, first pitch 7:30.
