City of Geneva procliams July 14th Johnny "O" day...July 13th , 2006

...The City of Geneva has proclaimed Friday July 14th Johnny "O" Day. John Oughterson (Johnny "O" as he is known) has been involved with the Geneva Red Wings since their inception 4 years ago, and currently holds a "front office" job with the Wings in the form of Executive General Manager. The day was named in his honor in recognition of all he has done for Geneva Baseball throuhout the years. If you see Johnny be sure to congratulate him and ask to see his two championship rings he proudly wears, he earned these for his dedication to the NY-Penn Geneva Cubs long before the Red Wings came to be. Hey Johnny, does this mean you get the day off from work tomorrow? Congratulations!
