Rain, and how! ...July 21st, 2006

...So, we have all seen some rain in our day right? Well last night's rain that came through McDonough is probably one of my top ten storms of all time! The rain started 15 minutes before game time, and we watched a sheet of rain start in left field and literally envelop the stadium. Not only did it rain, but the wind swirled swaying the light standards and destroting the patio umbrellas (was it a tornado?) the rain came down so hard you couldn't see the outfield fence from the dugout. Then...the hail. Marble to golf ball sized hail. In the end it took 15 minutes to put the field literally underwater. No Game.
