Wings drop another close one ...July 7th , 2006

... The Wings dropped another close one tonight 2-0 against the Watertown Wizards. Jason Clarke (Coker College) scattered 10 hits over 8 innnings of work, and allowed only 2 runs, both in the second inning. The Wings us couln't get the bats going again. They were only able to produce three hits, but left men on second base in six of the nine innings, after taking advantage of walks and errors from the Wizards. The hits just didn't come often enough, or at the right times.

... The Wings travel to Elmira tomorrow for a doubleheader, starting at 5:00
