23 Days 'til opening day, roster posting 24 hours away ....Post Date May 14th, 2007

... With 23 days left before opening day things are getting pretty hectic around the old place. The loose ends are being tied up, and the final preperations are underway at the ballpark. The 2007 Roster will be posted and official in the next 24 hours, please check back to see who made the team this season, we think we have put together a winner this season with a bulk of the talent coming from top 25 NCAA teams. I can give you a bit of a sneak peek (don't tell, shhh). Returning from last years team are NYCBL 1st team all-star Jeremy Kehrt (Southern Indiana University) and Aaron Greenblatt (Northeastern University). In limited relief duty Aaron has a 1-0 record with the Huskies, opposing batters have hit only .220 against him and he struck out 6 in 10.0 IP. Jeremy has started 6 games this season for the Eagles posting a perfect 5-0 record and a 3.32 ERA. He also blasted Kentucky Wesleyan in a complete game shutout winning 5-0 while scattering 6 hits and striking out 9.
