Thursday's game cancelled due to rain...Post date July 20th, 2007

... The Wings did everything they could to attempt to get the game in last night on State Senator Nozollio night, however the rain just would not stop. The game itself was cancelled despite the fact that the largest crowd of the year made it through the gates. Close to 800 peole braved the rain with the hope that the rain would stop. There is no make up date is planned at this time. The Wings will host the Brockport Riverbats tonight at 7:30. The combination of the Wings being idle last night and a Hornell 7-0 loss to the Riverbats, the wings pick up a half game on the Dodgers and have sole possession of third place now by 1/2 a game. That helps the Wings playoff hopes as the top four teams in each division will make the postseason. �
