League Office cancels Thursday's games, playoffs start Saturday... Posted July 30th, 2008

With the playoffs looming and the fact that the games originally scheduled for Thursday (today) no longer matter in the playoff race, the decision was made early this morning to cancel those remaining games. That results in a final record for the Wings of 21-17, and third place in the Western Division. The Wings will now play the Brockport Riverbats (27-15) in a best of three Divisional Playoff Series. The series will begin tomorrow, Friday, at Brockport at 3:00. Game Two will be at McDonough Park at 7:30 on Saturday, and if needed Game 3 will be at Brockport on Sunday at 3:00. �
