Lightning suspends game in first... Posted July 27th, 2008

Last night's game against the Pioneers was suspended in the first inning because a lingering storm that was producing lightning just would not pass the park. For an hour and a half the game was delayed twice but at 9:35 the game was suspended officially because of lightning. No make up date has been set. The Wings are home today, Sunday July 27th at 3:00 for a doubleheader against the Brockport Riverbats. Tomorrow the Wings will host the Hornell Dodgers for another twin dip starting at 5:00. The Wings are in the midst of a playoff run, come on out and help push them into the post season. It is supposed to be a great day for baseball today...finally! �
